Iceland's favorite distilled spirit is giving awayt-shirts to three lucky fans to celebrate its expansion into the U.S.

Brennivin, known to many as “Black Death,” may not sound like a good thing, but it's actually a delicious liquorice libation and a nationwide favorite among Icelanders. When Iceland partially lifted its ban on alcohol in 1935, Brennivin, which was produced by a government-owned company, implemented an austere black label to appear unappealing and limit demand. However, this had the opposite effect, and the unique label became a treasured symbol for Iceland's signature drink.

Now you have the opportunity to don the classic label yourself! The iconic alcohol brand is giving away t-shirts to celebrate its recent expansion into the North American market. Brennivin is quickly spreading across the United States with availability in Wyoming, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle. Keep an eye out for the signature green bottles hitting shelves near you soon!

For your chance to win one of three Brennivin t-shirts, be sure to visit Iceland Naturally on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram beginning August 4.
