    Sigur Rós

    The Icelandic post-rock band formed in 1994, but it wasn't until 2000 when the band achieved worldwide success with their second album, ágætis byrjun. The band recently announced the dates for their upcoming North American tour. Find more ticket information here.

    Kaleo

    Taste of Iceland Reykjavik Calling alumni, the four-piece band Kaleo is bringing its "gorgeous blend of folk, blues, country, and rock to a wider mainstream audience in America." Kaleo signed with Atlantic Records and now lives in Austin, Texas, and will begin recording new material with producer Mike Crossey (Arctic Monkeys, Jake Bugg) in London for an EP due this year.     Dream Wife 

    Dream Wife was formed by the Icelandic musician Rakel Mjöll and her school sisters Bella and Alice. The band started as an art performance piece at their university in Brighton, where they never had the intention of forming an actual band. They have since toured Canada, England and performed at Iceland Airwaves.They signed with Enfer Records in 2014 and their first EP release in 2015.  Dream

    Jóhann Jóhannsson

    Jóhann Jóhannsson is an Icelandic composer who has been identified with minimalist, drone, and electronic music. Jóhann is known for his film music, primarily for his Oscar-nominated, Golden Globe-winning score for James Marsh's The Theory of Everything and his Oscar-nominated score for Denis Villeneuve's Sicario.
