White Night Wedding
White Night Wedding (6:30 p.m.) is an award-winning romantic comedy by writer-director BaltasarKormákur about Jon, a middle-aged professor, who is getting married, for the second time, to one of his former students half his age. But it's not all romance and roses for Jon. Surrounded by a colorful cast of family and friends, including his cranky mother-in-law-to-be who opposes the marriage, his always-intoxicated best man and the ever-present memory of his emotionally unstable first wife, Jon takes a rather complicated journey to his ultimately chaotic nuptials.
One of Iceland's biggest box-office hits, White Night Wedding has been honored in film festivals around the world and was Iceland's official entry for Best Foreign Language Film at this year's Oscars.
