"Velocity"

A swath of dreamy, colored silk is the new hallmark of Icelandic artist Hildur Ásgeirsdóttir Jónsson in her newly opened exhibition at the William Busta Gallery in Cleveland, Ohio. As a resident of both Ohio and Iceland, Hildur paints ethereal landscapes inspired by her northern homeland, "It is the landscape I knew as a child. I need an open landscape where I can see distant mountains and rivers."
