Chef Thorarinn Eggertsson & Chef Tom Holloway Combine Culinary Forces at Rustic Kitchen March 11-17

Chef Thorarinn Eggertsson, owner and head chef of Orange in downtown Reykjavík, will inspire Boston-area foodies with unique Icelandic dishes at Boston's esteemed Rustic Kitchen restaurant (210 Stuart Street, Park Square, Boston, MA, 617.423-5700 for reservations). Working closely with Chef Tom Holloway, Rustic Kitchen will offer a taste of Chef Thorarinn's exquisite cuisine as part of a special tasting menu from March 11-17.

Chef Thorarinn, who incorporates a mix of experiential dining and hints of molecular gastronomy into his menu, is known to feature ingredients sourced locally in Iceland, such as gray duck, reindeer and salted cod. His restaurant Orange made its way onto Condé Nast Traveler's prestigious 2009 Hot Tables List, which referred to Chef Thorarinn as “mad genius” and Orange as “packed with playful surprises” and “fun-through-dining.”
