Happening in Iceland

As we mentioned, ongoing eruptions at Iceland’s Bardarbunga volcano remain relatively harmless, and since it lies in an uninhabited area, no one has been displaced. While Bardarbunga may be a little rowdy, Iceland’s citizens are the most peaceful in the world, which allows Reykjavik police to enjoy fun activities like playing with kittens and impersonating David Hasselhoff! Iceland’s inviting atmosphere paired with its dramatic landscapes have drawn filmmakers from around the globe to its countryside, and thus, Iceland has seen an increase in film festivals flocking to its cities. In other film news, the Icelandic movie Life in a Fishbowl is seeking a nomination for the 2015 Best Foreign Language Oscar!
